Terms and Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all SKULPT Pilates memberships, class bookings, and purchases.
By purchasing a class, joining a membership, or booking a session at SKULPT Pilates, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Memberships
Memberships operate on a rolling monthly basis.
Memberships automatically renew each month unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
Your membership provides you with the number of class credits included within your chosen membership plan.
Membership credits are personal to the member and cannot be transferred or shared.
2. Membership Payments
Membership payments are collected automatically each month through our payment provider.
By joining a membership, you authorise SKULPT Pilates to collect recurring payments using your chosen payment method.
If a payment fails, SKULPT Pilates reserves the right to suspend membership access until payment has been received.
3. Cancelling Your Membership
Memberships may be cancelled by providing 30 days' notice.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by contacting SKULPT directly.
Your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
No refunds will be provided for unused classes, missed sessions, or early cancellation.
4. Booking Classes
All classes must be booked in advance through our online booking system.
Due to our limited class size of 8 participants, spaces are subject to availability.
Members are responsible for managing their own bookings and ensuring they attend the sessions they reserve.
5. Class Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, late cancellations affect other clients who may wish to attend.
Cancellation more than 24 hours before class: Your class credit will be forfeited.
No-show: Your class credit will be forfeited.
6. Class Changes & Instructor Cover
SKULPT Pilates reserves the right to change instructors, class times, or schedules when necessary.
Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.
If a class must be cancelled by SKULPT Pilates, your class credit will be returned.
7. Studio Etiquette
We want the studio to remain a welcoming and positive environment for everyone.
Clients are expected to:

Arrive on time for classes

Treat instructors and other clients respectfully

Follow instructor guidance

Use equipment safely

Maintain a clean studio environment
Unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the studio or cancellation of membership.
8. Personal Belongings
SKULPT Pilates accepts no responsibility for any personal belongings brought onto or left at the studio, including items that are lost, stolen or damaged. Clients are responsible for keeping their personal belongings secure at all times and are advised not to bring valuable items into the studio.
9. Health, Injuries & Client Responsibility
Pilates is a physical activity involving controlled movement, resistance, and may include the use of specialist equipment.
All customers must wear suitable clothing and grip socks during classes. Please remove jewellery to prevent injury. Long hair must be tied up to prevent injury.
Clients participate at their own discretion and are responsible for ensuring that they are suitable to take part.
Clients must inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, physical limitations, pregnancy, recent surgery, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Where a client has been advised by a medical professional, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding their participation in exercise, it is the client's responsibility to follow that advice before attending classes.
Providing information regarding an injury or medical condition does not replace the need for clients to make appropriate decisions regarding their own health, seek professional guidance where necessary, and follow any restrictions or recommendations provided by a healthcare professional.
Customers are advised to take classes at their own pace and only participate in exercises that feel appropriate.
Pregnancy, Injury & Medical Conditions
Clients who are pregnant, recently postnatal, recovering from surgery, undergoing treatment or managing an injury/ medical condition should seek appropriate professional advice before participating.
Certain conditions may mean that Pilates is not suitable, or that modifications are required. SKULPT Pilates reserves the right to advise a client not to participate in a class where we reasonably believe doing so may not be appropriate or safe.
Participation & Personal Responsibility
Clients agree that they will:

Inform instructors of relevant concerns before class begins.

Follow all safety instructions and exercise guidance provided.

Work within their own abilities and limitations.

Stop exercising if they experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any concerning symptoms.

Seek professional advice where appropriate.
SKULPT Pilates instructors provide exercise instruction and guidance only and are not responsible for diagnosing, treating, or managing injuries or medical conditions.
By attending SKULPT Pilates classes, clients acknowledge that exercise carries an inherent risk of physical injury and agree to participate responsibly, taking into account their own health, fitness level, and personal circumstances.
SKULPT is not liable for any injury caused from class participation.
Age Requirements
Classes are suitable for clients aged 18 and over.
Clients under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend classes due to the physical demands of the equipment, the nature of the exercises, and studio safety requirements.
All clients must be able to understand and follow instructor guidance and participate safely within a group environment.
SKULPT Pilates reserves the right to refuse participation where we believe a client is not able to safely take part.
10. Refund Policy
All membership payments, class purchases, and bookings are non-refundable except where required by law.
Refunds will not be provided for:

Missed classes

Late cancellations

Membership cancellations before the end of a billing period
11. Online Purchases & Cooling-Off Period
When purchasing a membership online, you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer law.
By booking or attending a class during this period, you acknowledge that the service has begun and your right to cancel may be affected.
12. Photography & Marketing
From time to time, SKULPT Pilates may take photographs or videos within the studio for marketing purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any images or videos, please inform a member of the team.
13. Personal Information
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms
SKULPT Pilates reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
Any significant changes will be communicated appropriately.
15. Legal Information
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By booking a class or purchasing a membership with SKULPT Pilates, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
